Today at their event in NYC, LG announced their latest flagship, the much-rumored LG G7 ThinQ. It has a 6.1-inch display with that controversial notch and a feature that LG calls a “Super Bright mode” which makes that display nice and bright. Inside of the phone, we find a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, and Android 8.0 Oreo.
Some additional specs of the G7 ThinQ include quick charging, wireless charging, IP68 water and dust resistance, a 3,000 mAh battery, 16MP camera, and 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC for the included headphone jack.
One great new feature included with the LG G7 ThinQ is a side button dedicated to opening Google Assistant. Another is that the G7 ThinQ will be one of the first phones to have Google Lens built in. As of now, we do not have any official release dates or launch information, but we imagine that LG will be providing an update on that soon.
