Stream videos using DIRECTV and give someone in need a meal this holiday season
During the holiday season, we will all do a lot of shopping and eating, but it’s important to remember that many are not as fortunate as us. Giving to charity and volunteering are great ways to give back, but DIRECTV has a new way and you won’t even have to leave your couch. From now until December 31st DIRECTV will donate a meal to Feeding America for each customer that streams a video using the DIRECTV app (iOS | Android) or through their website.
Feeding America is a member of 200 food banks and is the nation’s largest domestic-based hunger relief organization. The holidays are a busy time for us all but we all make a little time to watch something at night to unwind. Why not also help give a meal to someone in need while we’re at it? Last year DIRECTV donated 2.4 million meals and this year they are committed to donating up to 3.5 million.
You can help fight hunger just by watching your favorite programs online or right from your smartphone or tablet.
Now through Dec. 31, we will donate a meal* to Feeding America® for each customer who streams a show or movie using the DIRECTV App or on directv.com.
You can stream DIRECTV by:
- Downloading the DIRECTV app, available for iOS and Android devices
- Streaming now at directv.com/entertainment
