Lenovo announces the new 14 and 15 inch Flex 5, a 2-in-1 laptop
If you’re looking for a powerful, portable 2-in-1 laptop that will power through a day of work and then help you unwind at the end of a day, then be sure to check out the new Flex 5. This new laptop comes in two screen sizes — 14 and 15 inches — that double as touchscreens. Plus, they have support for a pen for ultimate productivity. While the 14″ screen only goes up to 1080p, you can get the 15″ in either 1080p or 4K.
On the spec side of things, you get the 7th Gen Intel Core i7 processor, up to 16GB of RAM, NVIDIA GeForce 940MX graphics, up to 512GB of SSD storage and even up to 1TB of hard drive storage. For the multimedia experience, you get Dolby Audio, a 720p camera, and plenty of ports including USB-C, USB 3.0, HDMI, headphone jack, and an SD card reader. All of this runs on top of Windows 10.
The laptop boasts a slim bezel design around the screen and even a backlit keyboard for an optimal typing experience in a variety of environments. The hinge on the Flex 5 supports 360 degrees of movement. This way, you can use it in laptop, stand, tent or tablet modes. Optionally, you can include a fingerprint reader which is compatible with Windows Hello.
The Flex 5 certainly boasts a solid work or play experience, no matter where you are. The 14″ model will start at $719.99, while the 15″ model will start at $829.99. Both models can be purchased from Lenovo when they are released late this month or early June.
