Chrooma Keyboard Is A Context Aware, Colorful Keyboard For Android

One of the best things about Android is that you can customize it to fit your needs and wants. For many users, the best way to customize is using third-party launchers, icon packs, and of course keyboards. The great thing about third-party keyboards is that they can offer a lot of extra functionality that the stock keyboard does. One keyboard I’ve been trying out a lot recently is called Chrooma Keyboard.

Under the hood, Chrooma Keyboard is more or less Google’s own keyboard application, just with a few small changes. The most notable and unique is that the colors on the keyboard can change color to match the application you’re using. If you jump into Google Hangouts, the keys turn green, Twitter, blue, Google+, red, and so on and so forth.

This keyboard can even show a palette of colors around that theme color on each row of the keyboard, this is my personal preference. The developers have even built in a special “night mode” which darkens the colors when the app detects less light around your device or just later in the day. This is of course optional.

Chrooma Keyboard also has some other great features such as the ability to resize the keyboard to either make it larger and easier to see or smaller to enable more to be seen on screen.

The keyboard costs $1.39 on Google Play. If you’re interested in picking it up, check out the link down below.
