p>This week Apple revealed their financial results for their first quarter of fiscal 2015, and they are impressive to say the least. Thanks to a record setting 74.5 million iPhones sold Apple was able to post a record $74.6 billion dollars in revenue netting the company an astonishing $18 billion of profit. Apparently, the companies new iPhone 6 and 6 Plus were huge successes. But there is one big new device set to launch in 2015 that the company is hoping will be another huge success and that device is their Apple Watch.

During their financial conference call Apple CEO Tim Cook dropped some new information about said watch, “Development of Apple Watch is right on schedule and we expect to begin shipping in April.” Apple’s first endeavour into the smartwatch category has already garnered a lot of hype and anticipation and Cook is just as excited for it’s impending launch, “My expectations are very high on it. I’m using it every day and love it and can’t live without it. The amount of developers writing apps for the wearable is “impressive.”

So it sounds like we have a release window. Now the next question is will it live up to all they hype and attention that it has attracted?
