Logitech Keys-To-Go Bluetooth Keyboard Review

Bluetooth keyboards aren’t always great. Some have strenghs in one area, others a completely different area. However if you’re looking for something that’s thin, portable, and extremely quiet, Logitech’s Keys-To-Go Bluetooth keyboard might just be for you.

This Bluetooth keyboard is designed for portability and nothing more. It’s likely thinner than your tablet is and the size on a table is also very minimal. It takes up very little room and even though it’s much smaller than your average keyboard, the keys do not feel cramped. Rather I found them quite easy to type on. The amount of travel is very low, but regardless I found that I could type just as fast as on my laptop within just a few minutes of use.

The Logitech Keys-To-Go keyboard has a handful of function keys at the top that are designed to work well with both Android and Windows tablets. From left to right we have Android navigation keys, shortcuts for Email and music, playback and volume controls, a screenshot option, a Bluetooth pairing key, and battery status/lock screen buttons.

I did the majority of testing with this keyboard on my Nexus 9 and overall I found that Bluetooth connectivity was flawless and that responsiveness when typing in Google Drive and Google Keep was without any noticeable delay. The recent apps button is also a great addition as I can easily switch between apps without ever taking my hands off of the keyboard. Battery life seems solid in my limited use, but it shouldn’t be an issue as the keyboard can easily be charged via the microUSB port on the right side.

The keys don't provide much travel, yet I feel at home typing on them.

One thing I would have absolutely loved to see on this keyboard would have been a trackpad. The blank space on top would be a great place to put it, but even without that this is a great little keyboard for your device. At $69.99 it’s not too expensive compared to other options on the market and I’ve seen it on sale for as little as $50 on Amazon. I picked mine up at my local Best Buy. If you’re in the market, I’d suggest at least giving this a chance. Links are below to buy.
