The New Moto 360 (Supposedly) Just Went Through Bluetooth SIG

From first sight even until now, the Moto 360 has been one of the most popular Android Wear devices and many are eagerly awaiting it’s second generation. Now it seems we don’t have long to wait. A device that seems like it’s definitely the new Moto 360 has just passed through Bluetooth SIG to receive qualification that it complies with Bluetooth licenses and specifications.

The listing is for BTMW03 which is undoubtedly the second gen 360. Need proof? First of all the first Moto 360 had a listing of BTMW01. Second, BlueTooth Motorola Watch.

The listing doesn’t provide many details other than the fact that the device will have Bluetooth 4.1 and will still run Android (duh). Since it’s running Android, that does rule out this being a successor to any of Motorola’s other Bluetooth products.

As Droid Life points out, the original Moto 360 went through Bluetooth SIG just days before it’s release in August 2014. Considering Google I/O is right around the corner, I would be lying if I said that the 360 was more than a few weeks from release or at least announcement.

What are the biggest improvements you want on the next Moto 360? Let us know down in the comments below.
