Google Could Be Launching Their Wireless Service Tomorrow – May Only Charge For Data Used
According to a new report from the Wall Street Journal, Google could be planning to launch their wireless service as early as tomorrow, April 22nd.
We’ve been seeing more and more leaks of this upcoming wireless service including apps in Android and even unofficial confirmation from Sundar Pichai himself. The service would be backed by T-Mobile and Sprint’s networks and, at least at launch, may only be compatible with the Nexus 6.
WSJ’s report also mentions that the service might only charge customers for the data they actually use. This means that customers who rely heavily on WiFi could have extremely low bills on this service.
For now that’s all we know about the service, but hopefully we’ll be learning much more very very soon.Source: WSJ
