Did A Googler Just Leak Google Now With Material Design?

With the full release of Android L and Material Design right around the corner it’s no doubt that Google is testing out redesigned versions of their applications for the new look. With testing though comes leaks and it seems like one Googler made the mistake of posting a screenshot of the internal software on his Twitter account. He quickly removed the tweet, but not before a few Reddit users were able to download the screenshot.

So what’s new? Well for one thing it seems Google is adding some color to the app as apparent with the now green traffic cards. Second there is a new hamburger menu up up top on the search bar. It’s unknown exactly what functionality this will have but if I had to guess it’s a settings menu. Overflow menu buttons for cards are also now placed outside of the card on the top right.

What do you think of this new look? Do you like it? It’s unknown when or if Google will release this update as it’s entirely possible that this is a test build and not the final version. All should be revealed soon so let’s keep a close eye out.
