Galaxy Note 4 Expected To Sell 11 Million Units – Note Edge 1 Million
At IFA this year, Samsung unveiled several new products, but the most noteworthy (pun not intended) was easily the Galaxy Note 4. The 5.7″ inch QHD phablet comes off the success of previous Note devices along with introducing several new features. But that wasn’t all, Samsung also unveiled the Note Edge, a curved screen version of the Note 4. Both of these devices hit store shelves this October, but it seems bigger sales numbers than what the Note 3 had aren’t expected.
“The estimated shipment of the Galaxy Note 4 is 1.5 million units in the third quarter, 9.5 million units in the fourth, with the combined amount reaching 11 million units by the end of the year. The amount is similar to that of the Galaxy Note 3,” said Park Young-joo, an analyst from Hyundai Securities Co. The same analyst later stated that the Note Edge would only ship about 1 million units in the same time frame.
