Windows Phone Store Reaches 255,000 Apps
1 min read

The one thing that is easily the biggest hindrance and complaint of Windows Phone is the app situation. While it is steadily improving, the platform has no where near as much developer support as iOS and Android. However according to a new report, the store has grown by over 50,000 apps in the past several months.

In December 2013 the store had just passed 200,000 apps, and now it apparently has 255,000 apps. Granted this is only about a fourth of what is found in the App Store on iOS and in the Google Play Store. Still though Microsoft says that the store is growing much faster proportionately than any other app store.
