Chromecast Gains Support For WatchESPN, MLS, & Google+ Photos

The Chromecast has been gaining traction lately by being added to new countries and also the ever growing app selection. Up until now though sports fans haven’t had much luck streaming their games to the TV. But now they can do just that thanks to a couple new apps.

Being added to the Chromecast library today is WatchESPN, MLS Soccer, and Google+ Photos. WatchESPN will allow users to cast their favorite sports games, including all 64 upcoming World Cup games, to the Chromecast. The MLS Matchday app also gains Chromecast ability which allows users to cast their favorite pro soccer games.

Another welcome addition is Google+ Photos which now allows users to display their favorite pictures up on the big screen. This update comes on both the iOS and Android apps. If you happen to be an anime fan, Crunchyroll is also being updated today with Chromecast support.
