ASUS Unveils New 5-in-1 Transformer Book V – For Those Who Have To Have Everything At Once

Have you ever felt like having a phone, laptop, and tablet as separate devices was just too mainstream? Maybe that you needed Android and Windows both within the tap of a finger at all times? Well now ASUS has you covered by releasing the all-new ASUS Transformer Book V, the Android/Windows laptop/phone/tablet.

This new, very unique device packs everything you might need throughout your day into one package. There are five different ways you can use this device.

  1. Windows 8.1 Laptop
  2. Android 4.4 Laptop
  3. Windows 8.1 Tablet
  4. Android 4.4 Tablet
  5. Android 4.4 Phone

ASUS could have a winner here some customers if they can keep the price right and make it available in enough areas of the world. To accomplish all of this ASUS is using an Intel processor to power the show, although they haven’t named which one, This comes along with 4GB of RAM, 128GB of flash storage, 1TB of HDD storage, and a 12.5 inch display. But that’s just the laptop/tablet bit. The Android phone hidden inside unfortunately doesn’t share those same specifications but rather it’s own Intel processor, 2GB of RAM, expandable storage, 8MP camera and 5-inch IPS display.

ASUS says that using Android and Windows while in docked mode will be seemless as Android can be used in full-screen or in a window. This allows users to actually use both Windows 8 and Android KitKat simultaneously.
