Windows 9 Tipped For 2015 Release Date

Windows has had ups and downs over the years. It seems like every other version is either amazing or horrible. After the massive failure associated with Windows Vista, Microsoft saw success with Windows 7, a stable OS with a traditional, yet new interface. Then came Windows 8. In Windows 8 Microsoft decided it was time to completely recreate the Windows interface by introducing their Metro theme previously seen in Windows Phone devices. Now Microsoft is now taking on the task of trying to win back some of their Windows 7 users while still pleasing those who enjoy Windows 8. According to a new report, Microsoft is aiming to announce the next version of Windows at their BUILD conference in April of this year.

Adoption rates of Windows 8 and 8.1 were far from exciting, so it comes as no surprise that the company is trying to win back some of it’s customers who didn’t upgrade because of the drastic changes. Considering the fact that Microsoft usually releases the newest versions of it’s operating system every 3 years, this time frame should be just about perfect. Hopefully more information will arise by April as it is not certain exactly which path Microsoft will take.
