Does iOS 7 Give You Motion Sickness?

Apple’s newest iOS 7 update has plenty of haters, but most of them have no reason to hate it. A few on the other hand have a real reason to compain. Some people are saying that the new operating system is giving them bad cases of motion sickness.

“The zoom animations … are literally making me nauseous and giving me a headache,” Apple forum user Ensorceled writes. “It’s exactly how I used to get car sick if I tried to read in the car.” Other forum users are reporting feelings of illness, eye pain, and dizziness as well.

One user even said that they had severe vertigo right after upgrading. Most of the users commenting in Apple’s forum report having called the company’s support line only to be told that there was no way to fully disable the effects. Many say that they’ve resorted to downgrading their devices to iOS 6, which did animate the way that apps opened, but did so in a way that was quicker and didn’t involve flying into or out of the screen. Have you had any problems with iOS 7 yet? Let me know in the comments!
